A logo is often the first handshake between a brand and the people it’s trying to reach. I design marks that stay legible at any size — from a favicon to a storefront sign — while still carrying a distinct point of view.
That can mean building a logo from scratch, or redesigning, refining, and reconfiguring one you already have. Either way, every project starts with a brand audit: an honest look at what’s working, what isn’t, and where the brand needs to go.
Every project is customizable. If you want to be hands-on and weigh in on every detail, we’ll work through it together. If you’d rather hand me the lead and trust the process, I’ve got you.
Brand identity work goes beyond the logo to build a full visual system — color, type, imagery, and voice — that holds together across every touchpoint. The goal is consistency without monotony: a system flexible enough to grow with the brand, but recognizable wherever it shows up.
Already love your logo? I can build out from it, expanding it into a complete brand suite with typography, official colors, graphical elements, and more — scaled to what you actually need. It’s often the missing step for teams without an in-house designer: you have a logo you like, but aren’t sure where to go from there.
You’ll walk away with a complete style guide, every element designed with intention and strategy behind it, plus real-world examples of how to apply it — so you can jump-start every material you need to make.
Wedding design is some of the most personal work I take on — invitation suites, day-of signage, and the details that set the tone for a couple’s celebration. Each project is built around the couple’s own story, not a template, so the final pieces feel like them.
Invitations often set the style for the entire wedding. They’re one of the first design decisions you make, and they can help you understand the overall tone of your day. I can offer style guidance and build moodboards to help you find the look you’re after.
Every suite is customizable. I’ll guide you through what’s standard and share best practices, but I’m just as happy to push past the norm when you want something unexpected. Whether the ideas come entirely from me or I’m bringing your existing vision to life, I’m here for it.
Packaging is a brand’s chance to make an impression in someone’s hands, not just their eyes. This work covers structural and surface design for products that live on a shelf, balancing shelf presence with the practical realities of manufacturing and materials.
Beyond the design itself, I help get the details right before anything goes to press — from vendor recommendations to print specs and final checks. I’ve researched FDA labeling regulations and designed heavy-lifting and warning labels that must comply with specific laws, so the finished piece doesn’t just look great — it’s represented correctly and legally.
Every project is customizable, whether you want to be closely involved in each decision or would rather hand me the lead.
I’m Madeline Trenkle — a graphic designer and art director based in American Fork, Utah. I earned my BFA in graphic design from BYU–Hawaii in 2021, and I’ve spent more than six years at an advertising agency, stepping into the art director role in 2023.
Over the years, I’ve designed more than 50 logos, 20+ campaigns, 20+ guides and magazines (most running 20 pages or more), and a handful of websites — and presented that work to CMOs, CEOs, and destination marketing leaders. That range means I’m as comfortable refining the details of a single mark as I am building a system that has to hold up across an entire campaign.
